SENATE RESOLUTION ____
MADAM PRESIDENT:
I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:
1 A SENATE RESOLUTION memorializing Raymond
2 Jumper.
3 Whereas, Raymond Jumper passed away on Monday,
4 March 15, 2021, at the age of seventeen;
5 Whereas, Raymond was a junior at Fishers High School,
6 where he excelled in the classroom and as a member of both the
7 track and varsity football teams;
8 Whereas, Raymond also participated in a number of
9 extracurricular activities outside of school, including Cru, a
10 student youth ministry group, and organizing pick-up
11 basketball games at the Fishers YMCA;
12 Whereas, Raymond brought joy to those around him
13 through his larger-than-life personality and he cared for his
14 friends and teachers alike, making sure that no one was a
15 stranger;
16 Whereas, Raymond is survived by his parents, Raymond
17 and Kenae, and his sister, Kenadi; and

1 Whereas, Raymond will be remembered for his love of
2 family, the thoughtfulness and devotion he had for his friends,
3 and his constant smile and cheery demeanor: Therefore,
4 Be it resolved by the Senate of the
5 General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
6 SECTION 1. That the Indiana Senate memorializes
7 Raymond Jumper.
8 SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed
9 to transmit copies of this Resolution to the family of Raymond
10 Jumper.
