SENATE RESOLUTION ____
MADAM PRESIDENT:
I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:
1 A SENATE RESOLUTION recognizing the Zionsville
2 Chamber of Commerce on their Diamond Jubilee 60th
3 anniversary.
4 Whereas, The Zionsville Chamber of Commerce has been
5 in operation since 1961 and has helped transform Zionsville
6 from a small village to a well-known, leading business
7 community in Indiana;
8 Whereas, Over the past 60 years, the Zionsville Chamber
9 of Commerce has advocated for community businesses,
10 sponsored community events, and amplified the voices of
11 Zionsville's businesses, leading Zionsville to be one of the most
12 prosperous communities in Indiana;
13 Whereas, Through the sponsorship of events such as
14 "Christmas in the Village," the "Brick Street Market," and other
15 community events, the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce
16 supports and uplifts local industry, provides a space for family
17 fun, and strengthens Zionsville's community bond;
18 Whereas, Through their hosting and sponsoring of
19 networking events, learning opportunities, and book clubs, the

1 Zionsville Chamber of Commerce encourages economic and
2 personal growth for Zionsville residents and professionals;
3 Whereas, The Zionsville Chamber of Commerce has
4 created opportunities for businesses to thrive by providing
5 businesses with community development grants to encourage
6 growth, opportunities for insurance coverage to protect
7 businesses, and the space to connect businesses together to
8 promote themselves and others; and
9 Whereas, Throughout the past 60 years, the Zionsville
10 Chamber of Commerce has been essential to the growth and
11 success of Zionsville as a leading business community in
12 Indiana: Therefore,
13 Be it resolved by the Senate of the
14 General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
15 SECTION 1. That the Indiana Senate recognizes the
16 Zionsville Chamber of Commerce on their Diamond Jubilee
17 60th anniversary.
18 SECTION 2. That the Secretary of the Senate is hereby
19 directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to the Zionsville
20 Chamber of Commerce.
