1 A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION memorializing Marc
2 Brunner.
3 Whereas, Marc W. Brunner passed away on September 30,
4 2019;
5 Whereas, Marc was born on July 9, 1955, in Batesville,
6 Indiana, to Arthur and Maxine Brunner;
7 Whereas, Marc was a permit inspector for the Indiana
8 Department of Transportation, where he faithfully served for
9 over three decades and was well respected by his peers;
10 Whereas, Marc lived with a servant's heart, good old-
11 fashioned Hoosier values, and a commitment to helping friends
12 and strangers alike, whether by assisting stranded motorists
13 along the highway or by ensuring state roads remained safe
14 and hazard-free;
15 Whereas, Alongside his community involvement, Marc was
16 a small business owner and an avid traveler. He cherished any
17 trip to the beach, where he and his wife searched for and
18 collected over 4,000 shark teeth; and
19 Whereas, Marc will be remembered for the love and
20 devotion he had for his wife, Debra, his daughter, Jena, and the
21 compassion and joy he brought to those around him: Therefore,
22 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly
23 of the State of Indiana, the House of Representatives

2 SECTION 1. That the Indiana General Assembly
3 memorializes Marc W. Brunner.
4 SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed
5 to transmit a copy of this Resolution to the family of Marc
6 Brunner.
