Summary of Legislation: The bill requires the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS)
to: (1) semiannually issue a report to the General Assembly and the Services for Individuals with Intellectual
and Other Developmental Disabilities Task force on the progress of the DDRS's and Office of the Secretary
of Family and Social Services' (FSSA) efforts to restructure and implement the new or revised family
supports Medicaid waiver and community integration habilitation Medicaid waiver; and (2) issue a final
report when the restructuring and implementation is complete.
Effective Date: Upon passage.
Explanation of State Expenditures: The DDRS or the FSSA will have increased workload to provide
semiannual reports to the General Assembly and the Task Force. The agencies should be able to implement
this requirement with no additional appropriations, assuming near customary agency staffing and resource
levels.
