STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS31366 / H0573
This legislation clears up who can request a ballot from county clerks or other officers charged with the duty of
issuing official ballots. This will stop political parties, or individuals without caregiver or familial relationships
with the individual from requesting a mail in ballot.

This legislation has no fiscal impact on the general fund
