STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS30705 / S1204
This is the FY 2024 original appropriation bill for the Public Schools Educational Support Program's Division of
Administrators. This division provides state support for grades K-12 for salaries and benefits of administrators
(superintendents, assistant superintendents, principals, and assistant principals) in Idaho's school districts and
public charter schools.
For FY 2024: The bill provides a 4% increase for administrator salaries and adjusts funding to account an
estimated reduction of 91 support units, as schools return to using Average Daily Attendance for student counts.
