STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS30671 / H0346
This legislation adds a new section, Idaho Code, Section 40-1404A, to provide for certain county-wide highway
districts to be divided into seven subdistricts, each represented by a commissioner pursuant to certain criteria.
FISCAL NOTE
There is no impact to the General Fund, however, this legislation will cause an increase in the local budget
of $28,800 plus fringe benefits for two new commissioners. It may have an impact on county commissioners
redrawing political boundaries, but those impacts are negligible as county commissioners must occasionally
redraw political boundaries.
