STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS30641 / H0320
The purpose of this legislation is to revoke a community college district’s property tax levy authority should
the community college lose its accreditation and fail to regain accreditation within two years.
FISCAL NOTE
There is no anticipated impact to any state-appropriated fund. Should a community college district lose its
levy authority under this section it would provide property tax relief to the taxpayers of the community college
district.
