STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This bill amends Section 33-501 of the Idaho Code, adjusting the term of office of School District Trustees
to two years, from the current term of four years, and requires that candidates declare their political party
affiliation.

There is no impact on the State’s budget foreseen.
