STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The purpose of this legislation is to ensure that all eligible family members will be able to apply and display
the Idaho gold star license plate. This legislation brings Idaho code in line with the eligibility requirements set
forth by national organizations supporting gold star families
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation will have no impact on State or local funds because it only addresses who may qualify to
purchase a Gold Star license plate.
