STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Clarifies how funds spent from the Opioid Settlement shall be recommended to the Governor and the Joint
Finance and Appropriation Committee in accordance with the terms of the applicable settlement or judgement,
and removes a sunset clause
FISCAL NOTE
There is no cost to the general funds or other funds other than the expense of reporting and budgeting the funds.
Funds will support abuse and recovery programs in Idaho under the terms of the settlement.
