STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS29443 / H0619
This bill further defines residency for sex offenders, clarifies that a county must register a sex offender regardless
of ability to pay the registration fee, and prohibits gathering with minor children on school grounds.
FISCAL NOTE
There will be no impact to the general fund. Counties may need to work out payment plans with offenders who
do not have the full registration fee at the time of registration.
