STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS29412 / H0598
This legislation would amend Idaho Code 39-8303, providing an exception to the statutory restriction against
employers requesting employees to provide genetic information to the employer. The exception would apply
to forensic labs conducting DNA analyses for law enforcement purposes.
FISCAL NOTE
This proposed legislation will have no fiscal impact on the General Fund, any other state fund or local
governments.
