STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS29258 / H0528
This legislation relates to personal delivery devices, amending section 40-2305, Idaho Code, on where the
devices can operate and section 49-117, Idaho Code, to revise the definitions to allow for devices from different
manufacturers under the statute. The legislation also contains an emergency clause that puts it into full force
and effect on or after July 1, 2022.
FISCAL NOTE
This bill will have no fiscal impact to the state General Fund, and makes no changes to the existing abilities of
local units of government to adopt regulations.
