STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS29064C1 / S1234
The proposed legislation is consistent with the Governor’s Licensing Freedom Act, by removing an outdated
extended access licensure endorsement for Idaho licensed dental hygienists working in an extended access
setting under the general supervision of a dentist.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation will have no impact on the state’s General fund or any dedicated fund or federal fund because the
Board of Dentistry does not currently impose any fees for extended access licensure endorsements. There is no
impact to the Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses dedicated fund since the proposed legislation
does not change any fee schedules.
