STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS29035 / H0463
This legislation increases the limit for delegation of public works projects from $150,000 to $300,000. The
limit has not been increased since 1996. Delegation of projects is requested by agencies based on their in-house
project management capability with approval at the discretion of the permanent building fund advisory council.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation will have no impact on the state’s General fund or any dedicated fund or federal fund because
projects will only be delegated to agencies with available resources.
