STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This legislation adds the words "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" to the Idaho Human Rights Act,
provides definitions for these terms, and amends the stated purpose of the Act consistent with the legislation's
other amendments.
FISCAL NOTE
This bill has no fiscal impact on state, county or local governments. Idaho Human Rights Commission already
has structure to accept discrimination complaints.
