STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS28575 / H0201
This legislation will put two exemptions in Idaho code. The first exemption will allow firefighters to replace
smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors in one and two family dwellings. Secondly, this legislation
will provide an exemption for the installation or replacement of a fire alarm panel communication device.
FISCAL NOTE
There is no fiscal impact to the State General Fund or any other state fund or expenditure in as much as the
provisions of this bill can be administered at the City Government level.
