STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS28097 / S1123
This proposal would convert Lava Hot Springs Foundation to a continuously appropriated account. This action
would treat the Foundation like other similarly situated organizations. It would benefit the Foundation by
allowing it to more quickly respond to needs using its dedicated fees while still retaining legislative oversight.
FISCAL NOTE
This bill would have no impact on the General Fund; it would save the Foundation approximately $1,000 in
dedicated funds associated with travel to Boise and other state-mandated budget submission and presentation
requirements.
