STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS28509 / H0151
To ensure public safety and transparency for the public, this legislation requires that a charitable bail
organization be registered by the State of Idaho similarly to a surety insurance agent and requires consistency
with the Idaho Bail Act.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation has no fiscal impact to the general fund, or other state funds, as any costs would be borne by
the charitable bail organization.
