STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS28255 / S1073
The purpose of this legislation is to clarify that the statutory protection of water delivery facilities from claims
of adverse possession extend to properties owned by water delivery entities.
FISCAL NOTE
This amendment would clarify that the protections from adverse possession apply to lands owned by water
delivery entities and, therefore, would have no impact on the General Fund.
