STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS28362 / S1065
This legislation eliminates authorization for use of the Governor’s facsimile signature in the appointment and
commissioning of notaries public, since these appointments and commissionings are now performed by the
Secretary of State.
FISCAL NOTE
No fiscal impact. Since the activity being repealed has not occurred for many years, this legislation has no
fiscal impact.
