STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS28371 / H0100
To require ISDA to consider and balance best available science in rule-making with economic feasibility and
impact of potential rules. The intent is to ensure that imposition of new rules dictated by scientific possibilities
are balanced against economic reality such that regulatory burdens are financially attainable by farms and
ranches.
FISCAL NOTE
No impact to the general fund. No impact to a dedicated fund because existing personnel, data and processes
are already in place for ISDA rule-making and it is an ongoing function of ISDA.
