STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The revisions to Idaho Code 55-2604 are made to clarify the legislative intent of the statute and to remove
ambiguities created by the use of the words area, expanding, and increasing. The words area, expanding, and
increasing suggest a limitation on the use of a gun club’s property where no such limitations were intended in
the statute.
FISCAL NOTE
The revision proposed in this legislation represents no fiscal impact on the Idaho State General Fund because
no dollars are used for clearly defining the use of property.
