STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS28113 / S1035
The proposed legislative changes will repeal Idaho Code 19-867 through 19-872 and incorporates those statutes
into a NEW CHAPTER designated as Chapter 59, Title 19, Idaho Code. There are no substantive changes to
the Idaho State Appellate Public Defender's structure and statutory authority.
FISCAL NOTE
The proposed legislative changes will have no fiscal impact, because the proposed changes add no additional
duties to the State Appellate Public Defender.
