STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This proposed legislation will assign the listed boards into the Division of Occupational and Professional
Licenses. Prior to Executive Order No. 2020-10, the boards were freestanding, part of the Division of
Occupational and Professional Licenses, contracting with the Division of Occupational and Professional
Licenses (“IBOL”) or a part of the Division of Building Safety (“DBS”)
FISCAL NOTE
There is no impact to the General Fund, nor the Division of Occupational Licenses dedicated fund. This
legislation furthers the execution of Executive Order No. 2020-10 by moving the previously freestanding
boards, DBS and IBOL under the authority of the Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses.
