STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS28199 / H0004
This legislation further defines Idaho's Parental Rights statutes to state that an emergency order, disaster
declaration, etc. cannot be deemed a compelling government interest that would allow abridgement of parental
rights as described in 32-1013.
FISCAL NOTE
There is no fiscal impact to the General Fund, any other state fund, or any local jurisdiction. Implementation
of this legislation will not prohibit state action against families and does not require any enforcement.
