STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS28187 / S1002
The intent of this legislation is to ensure that an emergency declaration may end while still preserving the state’s
ability to continue receiving funds to assist in recovering from such emergency.
FISCAL NOTE
The impact of this legislation will result in increased funding since it allows Idaho to access assistance funding
that otherwise would be restricted without passage of this bill. The amount of funding is dependent on federal
funds available for emergency assistance.
