STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This legislation would amend Idaho Code Section 34-1006 by adding language that would ensure electors be
provided the opportunity for in-person voting regardless of a state of emergency, extreme emergency, or disaster
emergency.
FISCAL NOTE
There is an unknown fiscal impact to the general fund and local governments because of the unforeseen costs
for potential modifications to provide for the election process.
