STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27887 / H0601
This legislation further defines and clarifies the public records request process. It identifies what information
is required when requesting public records, which records are requestable and which personally identifying
information may remain private.
FISCAL NOTE
As future activity is impossible to predict, it only be noted that these changes should result in an overall decrease
in workload as requests become more well defined and thus create subsequent savings to the general fund.
