STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Provides a mechanism for the restoration of rights under certain instances in a manner that conforms with
federal firearms statutes.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation would increase the caseload on the courts, adding potential pressure to both county budgets
and the judiciary budget. However, no fiscal impact is expected since it is not anticipated that this legislation
will sufficiently increase caseloads to necessitate additional staff or judgeships.
