STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27825 / S1380
The purpose of this bill is to amend section 6-904, Idaho Code, providing an exemption to governmental liability
to a defending attorney as defined in section 19-851 (2), Idaho Code, and indigent defense provider as defined
in section 19-851 (5), Idaho Code. Existing code provides for exemptions of prosecuting attorneys, and judges,
but did not include public defenders.
FISCAL NOTE
There is no fiscal impact due to this is a technical change to the code.
