STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27817 / H0566
Idaho Code defines "personal delivery device" and limits the weight of such device to 80 lbs. This legislation
amends the definition by allowing personal delivery devices to weigh no more than 200 lbs. The current weight
limit is set too low to allow for effective use by delivery companies.
FISCAL NOTE
There is no impact to the general fund or to any local fund because Idaho Code already allows for the use of
personal delivery devices and the change to code only applies to the weight of the device.
