STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27614 / H0502
The purpose of this bill is to remove the requirement for "native grown product" in the production of home
brewing beer. The term "native" is not defined as applied to home brewing. Home brewers would like to
produce beers for personal consumption that may occasionally use products grown out of state. New language
has been added to this section that defines the amounts of beer that can be produced by home brewing for
personal use.
FISCAL NOTE
This bill has no fiscal impact. It does not request or require any funds at the state or local level. Implementation
of this bill can be achieved through existing processes.
