STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27685 / S1335
The purpose of this legislation is to establish some uniformity to the legislative session and process. By
identifying a "not to exceed" sine die date, it will help the Legislature to be deliberate and timely as we do the
people's business.
FISCAL NOTE
There will be a likelihood of savings as future sessions will have a "do not exceed" date. Those potential savings
will vary from session-to-session and is impossible to quantify.
