STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27611 / H0495
This legislation establishes the commonly used method for calculation of agricultural land assessed values. It
also places emphasis on using local available data when available rather than relying on generalized aggregated
data.
FISCAL NOTE
No Fiscal impact to the General Fund or any dedicated fund. Also, no impact to local government funds as it
is establishing in code the existing valuation process.
