STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27633 / H0468
Provides a mechanism for the expungement of misdemeanors under certain instances to aid in employment and
in a manner that conforms with federal firearms statutes.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation would increase the caseload on the courts, adding potential pressure to both county budgets
and the judiciary budget. However, no fiscal impact is expected since it is not anticipated that this legislation
will sufficiently increase caseloads to necessitate additional staff or judgeships.
