STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27691 / S1315
This legislation amends Idaho Code to reconfigure Idaho's geographic regional airport authority divisions and
establishes a southern Idaho airport authority region. The bill would allow two (2) or more counties to create,
manage, and dissolve a regional airport authority upon an affirmative vote of the said counties' voters.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation would create no impact on the General Fund of the State of Idaho. The change simply allows
voters in smaller geographic areas to join counties together to create and operate airports by virtue of the airport
authority statute.
