STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This legislation amends Idaho Code 67-3516, to provide that receipts from the sale of a motor vehicle may be
transferred to operating expenditures in certain instances.
FISCAL NOTE
There will be no fiscal impact to the general fund. Any proceeds from the sale of a vehicle will shift from
capital outlay expenses to operating expenses. There may be possible savings by renting vehicles rather than
purchasing vehicles.
