STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This legislation prevents land actively devoted to forestry from being annexed without the express written
permission of the owner.
FISCAL NOTE
Since this legislation simply adds a new category of land that cannot be annexed without written permission, it
will nave no fiscal impact.
