STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27500 / S1290
The purpose of this legislation is to amend provisions of Idaho Code § 43-206 to allow irrigation districts of
15,000 acres or less to, upon resolution of the Board, combine all election precincts into one polling location
at the district office. It also allows the Board of Directors to provide one elector from each precinct to serve as
judges of election at the combined polling place.
FISCAL NOTE
The changes to Idaho Code § 43-206 allows for a combined polling location in irrigation district elections and
will cause no fiscal impact to state or local governments.
