STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27478 / S1279
The purpose of this legislation is to simplify and focus school districts and charter schools annual Superintendent
Evaluation. Additionally, it provides a mechanism to align Local Education Authority (LEA) goals with key
state performance indicators.
FISCAL NOTE
According to discussions with the State Board of Education, there are no additional costs associated with this
legislation.
