STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27510 / S1277
This bill does three things: 1. Creates uniformity across the state to the application process for a property tax
homeowner's exemption. 2. Requires that the exemption application forms are at all time readily available to
Idaho citizens. 3. Prohibits seeking information regarding applicants that is not required for the exemption.
FISCAL NOTE
This bill does not require any new or additional funding. The actions required can be accomplished within the
current budget allocation.
