REVISED
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27467 / SCR120
This resolution directs the Idaho State Board of Education and Idaho State Department of Education to replace
the federally required ISAT test with another test that would meet federal requirements such as the SAT
(Scholastic Aptitude Test).
FISCAL NOTE
The State Board of Education and State Department of Education already have the expertise to review what
other states are doing. There is no cost to local school districts. The state already pays for the SAT and not
giving the 10th Grade ISAT would save time and funds.
