STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27382 / S1242
The purpose of this legislation is to allow an applicant for a nursing home administrator's license with
management experience at an in-patient facility and a master's-level degree with an emphasis in healthcare
to qualify for a license.
FISCAL NOTE
There is no impact to the General Fund; the Board of Nursing Home Administrators operates solely on dedicated
funds. There is no impact to the Bureau of Occupational Licenses, since the proposed legislation will not alter
the number of meetings, or require more services to be provided, or change any fees.
