STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27274 / S1244
This legislation amends Section 67-3508, Idaho Code, by changing the criteria for some items to be coded to
capital outlay from the current useful life of more than two years to those items that meet the State Controller's
fiscal policy for inventoriable capital assets.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation will have minimal fiscal impact. The proposed change should allow for some efficiency by
reducing the number of transactions required to transfer appropriation between object classes for the purchase
of smaller dollar value items.
