STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This legislation amends Section 49-1806 by adding language to disallow booting a car for the sole basis of an
expired or improper vehicle registration.
FISCAL NOTE
There is no anticipated impact on the general fund or local governments because this simply adds language to
provide some clarification of the existing law.
