STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27393 / H0338
This legislation repeals existing code that preempts local regulation of auxiliary containers such as plastic bags,
restoring local control.
FISCAL NOTE
There is no fiscal impact to the General Fund or to county or other local government funds. This legislation
gives local government control over the ability to govern regulation of auxiliary containers such as plastic bags
which will have no impact on costs.
