STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27245 / H0312
Update and improve on basic day care license regulations for Idaho Overview:
State legislation regarding child care licensing hasn't been updated since 2011. Part of this statute update is to
comply with federal regulations and the rest of the updates are to align day care license requirements with the
Idaho Child Care Program (ICCP) standards.
FISCAL NOTE
Based on current provider numbers, our fiscal impact to the program would be an approximate increase of
$52,000 dollars, 71% of which is federal and 29% is General Fund.
