STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27190
This purpose of this legislation is to change the number of days allowed for obtaining signatures in the
initiative/referendum process from eighteen (18) months to two hundred and seventy (270) days.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation is not anticipated to have any impact upon state or local budgets beyond what the existing
initiative/referendum process demands.
